Will someone be available to help me in to the hospital?
Volunteers are available to assist patients and visitors at all sites during the weekday. Volunteers can help with directions and additional supports that you may require. They are not routinely available to assist patients in and out of vehicles in our parking lots and front entrances so you are encouraged to bring a support person with you if this type of assistance is required.
Where are the accessible and family washrooms?
Each hospital has an accessible washroom available for use on the main floor (except Markdale – our wheelchair washroom does not have an automatic door so assistance is required to enter and exit)
Can I bring my service animal to the hospital with me?
Service animals are permitted in all GBHS sites.
